Here, Vanessa Vallely OBE talks to Jennie Woods, Head of Engineering at Funding Circle. Jennie has worked at Funding Circle for just over a year but prior to that, started her career as a software engineer at Estee Lauder before moving into management and HOE positions over the last decade at places like Maru, Pure Gym and now FC. Jennie loves problem-solving and really enjoys being a part of a cross-functional team who are working through how to solve interesting and complex business problems. She likes having the context and big picture of what is trying to be achieved and finding creative ways to use technology to solve the problem and move a business forward.
