Self-taught, I grew up coding from my room. By the time I was a teenager, my passion for computing took me to the top of my class.
I taught myself JavaScript and sought out bootcamps to kick-start a social and collaborative career in software development.
I joined DirectlyApply with thousands of hours of experience in coding and writing programmes but very little in the way of formal work experience. After shining in the tests set by the company, I proved my worth with a portfolio of hundreds of side projects on GitHub.
With the support of my employer, I recently returned to education, bolstering my skills with a part-time Bachelor’s degree in Business and Entrepreneurship.
