I started out as an apprentice in Barclays (Glasgow) in 2019, in the Cash Settlements and Payments Technology team in Markets Post Trades area. Throughout the past four years, I have learned a lot with the cash settlements space and became an SME in a few areas within the team. At the same time as working, I also attended the University of Glasgow in which I worked towards a BSc (Hons) degree in Software Engineering, obtaining a 1st class degree in June 2023. I have also been an active member in the Women in Technology Scotland committee, where I have helped run the communications / outlook as comms lead to promote and aid our workstreams, taken part in organising the B in Tech School initiative, and the Ada Scotland Festival.
