Ansuyia Makroo is a Vice President in the Institutional Securities Technology division at Morgan Stanley. She is a Team Lead in the Equity Structured Products Trading development team and works closely with diverse business stakeholders globally to build, support, and maintain a suite of tools for OTC Trade Capture and Lifecycle Management; and provides technical and functional expertise to the wider fleet. She is responsible for building scalable software solutions to solve business problems.
Ansuyia comes from a Computer Science and Engineering background. She began her career in teaching as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science & Engineering domain. During her tenure in teaching, she took special interest in mentoring students from diverse backgrounds to nurture their passion for technology.
She took career mobility to Finance Technology and joined Morgan Stanley, India as a Java developer. Since she was keen to learn more about the business, she pursued the opportunity to relocate to London to lead the EMEA Trading Desk developer function. To rekindle her love for teaching, she likes to volunteer for Give back initiatives focused on Teaching. She is passionate about building an inclusive and positive work environment and is involved in several firmwide initiatives including Graduate and Lateral Hiring, Technology Apprenticeship Program and Agile Coaching.
