The Return To Tech Bootcamp with Coding Black Females is an intensive course for people who have hands-on experience working the tech industry.

Over 18 weeks, you’ll build a full stack application, develop your skills in DevOps, Cloud and cover Technical Architecture and Leadership. We’ll also support you in gaining certifications covering AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect and Elasticsearch.

This programme is for Black women who:

  • Previously worked in the tech industry and would like to return after a career break
  • Has worked as a Software Engineer for at least 3 years, and is ready for their next challenge

Successful applicants will be paid a training salary of £30,000 during the bootcamp and receive a conditional offer of employment at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. Once you have successfully completed the bootcamp, you’ll move onto your new role as a Senior/Principle Engineer.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Over 18
  • Based in the UK with the right to work
  • British Citizen
  • Based in or willing to relocate to London
  • Able to work full time in an office
  • Woman or gender minority
  • Black or mixed heritage
  • Previously or currently in a tech role or currently running a tech business
  • Took time out of up to 7 years for either parental leave, caring responsibilities, change or a break.

The programme, in partnership with BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, is designed to support students in their journey back to tech through training. Upon successful completion of the bootcamp, participants will have improved existing technical skills and gained a new set of skills, recognised tech certifications, a fresh outlook on the industry and access to amazing opportunities.
