Ayesha Abdul Majeed has made significant contributions in the field of information technology, showcasing her dedication to excellence and leadership. Since January 2015, she has served as a lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at BUITEMS. Ayesha’s pursuit of excellence led her to receive the Faculty for the Future Fellowship for her doctorate in Computer Science from University of Queens University Belfast.

In recognition of her leadership potential and dedication to STEM, Ayesha was selected as one of the top 98 emerging leaders in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East for the TechWomen program (2018). Ayesha holds the position of ambassador for SingularityU Quetta, which is the local chapter of Singularity University. This role allows her to further promote technological advancement and innovation in her region. Ayesha is an active member of various organisations that share her commitment to diversity and inclusion in STEM. She is a member of SACNAS (The National Diversity in STEM Conference), recipient of AnitaBorg Grace Hopper Celebration Scholarship, and the member of Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) further solidifying her dedication to promoting gender equality and diversity in the scientific community.
