Since the age of 19, I have been an enthusiast in information technology. Graduated from Kingston University, London with BSc (hons) in Computer Science. I spent a considerable amount of years as an infrastructure virtualisation consultant at IBM UK and advanced my career towards IT infrastructure security as an independent consultant, then co-founding Meta Defence Labs, a cybersecurity and infrastructure business in London.
I’m a trained CISSP & GDPR professional and holds certifications in virtualisation and computer hacking forensics. Active member of the British Computer Society (BCS), actively publishing cybersecurity articles for the BCS iTNOW magazine and company newsletter. I’m also an associate member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) and a Cyber Essentials Assessor. I’m very passionate about supporting females in the tech space.
I always make time to participate and volunteer for initiatives where I can give back to influence more females to move in to the IT industry, especially in cybersecurity. Recently co-founded an online mentoring platform called “InfoSec for Equality and Women” to support anyone looking to transition to the IT and cybersecurity space.
