After receiving job offers from her internships in strategy consulting, Shell and BP, Dilara joined the technology graduate programme of Deutsche Bank. During her programme, she found her calling: coding. She taught herself to code and wrote from scratch a new application for Deutsche Bank in a very short period of time by herself. After a successful graduate programme, she was offered a permanent role with a trading-floor based development team. She has written production code for the Foreign Exchange business in 7 different programming languages, developing full-stack independently. She works directly with structurers, quants, sales and other business employees to understand their problems and goals. She codes in an agile way and delivers weekly new code for a trading system. She has delivered mainly in the following languages/technologies: Java, JUnit, Cucumber, Groovy, C-sharp, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, JavaScript 6, Splunk, Tableau, SQL and PL/SQL. She engineers at a level beyond her experience and is a winner of the global 24-hour hackathon.
