Disa has 15+years of experience working in technology and innovation especially in the pharmaceutical industry. In her current role as Director Head of Innovation within the Global Clinical Sciences & Operations at UCB, she is responsible for evaluating and piloting innovative solutions in clinical trials. Prior to joining the pharma, she was a co-founder of an IT company. She has an EMBA and B.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Disa started a cross-industry collaboration on blockchain via PhUSE. Her passion is on closing the gap for patients with unmet needs and exploring the right technologies (Blockchain, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence/machine learning, robotics, data discovery tools, and others) to accelerate the implementation of end-to-end patient solutions.
