With 17 years of progressive experience in BPA Quality, my career has been one of diverse roles, continual learning, and a deep-seated passion for technology and data science.

Beginning while studying Business Management at Exeter University, I’ve transitioned from Quality Analysis, Account Management to Project Management, eventually overseeing a team of Data Analysts. It was in this role that I discovered my love for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, inspiring me to learn Python and implementing Data Science projects.

I chose to delve deeper into my passion, embarking on a Level 7 Apprenticeship in AI and Data Science at Cambridge Spark. Today, I work as a Data Scientist, constantly striving to innovate and make a difference within my organization. Through my curiosity and passion for generative AI, I have undertook multiple self-funded courses to learn about this new technology.

I volunteer as a STEM Ambassador, assessing Robotic challenges, attending schools to support coding sessions and taking part in careers discussions. I run a Robotics and Coding club for children, with a vision to make sure it is accessible regardless of learning needs or economic disadvantages this means it is always free to attend and considerations are made to enable a comfortable environment for SEND children. Since starting as a STEM Ambassador 6 months ago, I have accumulated over 50 hours and reached over 1000 children with my activities.

I volunteer for AI4Charities as an associate, presenting industry insights around generative AI and organising events for members.

I volunteer as a Community Champion for Cohere AI, providing mentoring, tutorials and organising events for the community.

I volunteer my Data Science skills and expertise to a local start-up called Plus-ed.

As a Mental Wellbeing Champion at BPA Quality, I openly share my experiences through presentations, articles and discussions.
