Ellena Duffy

I’m the Senior Business Analyst at the PropTech SME, WiredScore, one of Europe’s largest property technology firms.

WiredScore’s mission is to improve technology in buildings and to help tenants find the buildings they need, and I work in the Research & Development team to support WiredScore in becoming a global leader in digital connectivity standards. I joined WiredScore as an intern in 2016 after graduating from Cambridge with a first class degree in History, with no knowledge of property, technology, or data. I was later invited to join WiredScore as the company’s first graduate employee, and two years later I now lead the data insights team. It’s been a huge transition from books to data, but I’ve really enjoyed it!

In my role, I am the lead admin and developer of the company’s CRM system and I provide insights to the business on revenue generation and operational efficiency. I also contribute to the commercial property industry’s views on connectivity, and my recent research projects have concluded in defining the technical recommendations to be featured in the British Council for Offices (BCO) Guide to Specification for Intelligent Building design, which is the industry’s leading publication for office specifications. Outside of my role, I am involved in promoting diversity and inclusion in the business and I initiated the company’s Reverse Mentoring programme and Apprenticeship scheme.
