Working for Barclays I joined the digital eagle programme as I had an interest in upskilling myself and I loved to help others and I have just gone from strength to strength.
I had a very keen interest in teaching all things digital to people that normally are left out and when teaching coding to a group of people with different disabilities there was no equipment that was fully accessible, so I did what I do best and sought out help from the BBC to create, together a megabit which is fully accessible, to allow people with disabilities to learn how to code.
I spent my days off teaching digital skills to people in local job centres when I am not helping out in schools or local community projects.
I learnt sign language to help others and my next mission now is to teach children coding in BSL. Something that is not really done anywhere.
