I have been with SVB serving the innovation ecosystem since 2004. I was initially based in the US where I was covering early and growth stage tech companies but moved to the UK market in 2007. My current role is Head of European Relationship Banking and member of the UK leadership team driving the strategic direction of SVB throughout Europe, including setting and delivering the relationship and sales plan for the Bank, driving the strategic and financial goals of the teams (Early Stage Banking, VC-backed companies, Corporate clients, Buy-out portfolio, Client Acquisition & VC Relationship Management, Product, Sales support, and Healthcare & Life Sciences), as well as establishing and maintaining strong relationships with companies and their investors.

My time is now divided between strategic planning and growing SVB’s presence in Europe, spending time in the market connecting with and adding value to our clients and investor contacts, events and speaking engagements aimed at bringing together the sector, and team management/leadership.

Given SVB’s remit my entire career has been focused on working with technology companies and investors at every stage of growth.
