Event Details
The 4th annual SGTech Week 2023 brings together 150+ utility Substation, SCADA System, Utility Telecom and Cybersecurity colleagues, for a review of the latest smart grid implementation projects and innovation roadmaps.
The week-long programme combines a series of Standardisation workshops, with C’level plenary sessions, techno-commercial case-study presentations, technology innovation panel debates, and intimate end-user roundtable discussions, to drive awareness of recent successes and setbacks as well as stimulate new ideas to drive the deployment of the smart grid further faster.
The multi-track format enables participants to fully immerse in the technical domain that is most relevant to their day-to-day responsibilities, whilst being able to pick and choose sessions from other tracks to enhance their working knowledge of other domains. By bringing multiple smart grid technical teams together under one roof, IT-OT integration is not only explored, it is facilitated and promoted to help drive the next phase of smart grid deployments with greater ease.

Look around any workplace and you’ll see women providing the unrecognised, unspoken glue that keeps things going.
They remember people’s birthdays, make the coffee, clear up in the kitchen. They offer emotional support, a listening ear and nurturing. In this webinar Gabriella will explore why this happens, the negative impact it can have, and how we can stop ourselves falling for the age-old traps and support each other to change the narrative.

Join Loft Digital and Health Foundry as we celebrate Women’s History Month in March with our Female Founders Network.
The theme for this event is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories” and will focus on the intersection of women’s health and technology. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from industry leaders and connect with like-minded individuals
Did you know?
Stats from Tech Nation suggests only 19% of the tech workforce are women. Forbes states that only 2% of funding goes to women-led start-ups. For women of colour, the stats are far more dismal at just 0.64%.
Even with the rise of FemTech start-ups, which are focusing on women’s healthcare—a sector that’s historically been significantly overlooked and undermined, only 3% of total HealthTech funding went to FemTech start-ups in 2020.
The event aims to recognise and honour the accomplishments of female founders in the digital health and tech industry, with continued lack of representation of women in both these fields it’s important to highlight the challenges and successes whilst shedding light on the importance of personal wellbeing.
The event will provide a platform for attendees to be inspired, motivated and gain a deeper understanding of the significance of wellbeing. Additionally, the event will serve as a safe and inclusive space for people to come together and connect.

There are many life-changing events along our career paths. We explore employment rights and practical guidance to assist during those times. Considering how you can approach your employer for support and/or support employees.
Life events such as menopause, fertility treatment, miscarriage and relationship breakdown can impact welfare in and out of the workplace. We discuss how flexible working and workplace policies can assist. Mental awareness, well-being and having support is vital at various stages of our life and often we as women suffer in silence.
We want to open the discussion to the events that do impact us, how we can best support each other, how we can approach our employer and ensure that welfare is considered in the workplace.

Event Details
We have been hosting our women in tech conference for over six years. In fact, we have welcomed over 5,000 diverse women through our doors since 2015.
We are not a large media company, we are a passionate organisation that has been championing women in tech for the past 13 years. To us, it’s personal. 21% of women in the industry is just not enough, it needs to change. For this change to happen, it starts by showing existing women in the industry and those who want to transition in, what that world of future tech really looks like. It also involves encouraging women from all backgrounds to consider tech careers, so that we can build products and systems that are truly inclusive. Our conference will not solve these problems overnight, or even scratch the surface on the journey we need to go on for gender parity in the industry, however it will provide an opportunity for attending to learn about what is innovating and disrupting the industry globally. This will enable them to have a broader understanding of the tech landscape and to think about how they adapt their skill sets and grow their networks for the future.
This year, we are going to be bringing you the very best global virtual learning experience on a state-of-the-art conferencing platform. Our conference will provide ample opportunities to learn about emerging technologies and what is innovating and disrupting the industry. We are blessed to be given time from some of the world’s finest speakers who will be joining us to share their wisdom and knowledge. We will deliver innovative sessions on a variety of different areas of tech, with a side order of career development, fireside chats and ample networking opportunities, both on the day and through our global virtual networking world.
Each year, we work with our 24,000+ women in tech community at WeAreTechWomen to identify what tech innovations and topics they would like us to cover as part of our annual conference. We build our agenda around that feedback – giving our community what they want, to not just accelerate their careers, but to understand about the wider world of tech, and how this will affect the future world of work.
We hope you will join us for what will no doubt be one of the most exciting events for women in tech.
