Why TECH+TUNES?

A creative company, we’ve got a spoken word poet, jazz musician, opera singer, History of Art grad and even French horn player in the SurrealDB team — not to mention a piano in our Huckletree office!

We therefore wanted to create a tech networking event with a difference. We know music has the power to bring a room together (our Experiences Manager, Lizzie Holmes, created Airbnb’s No.1 Music Experience Globally in 2018) and we also wanted to create an event that wasn’t just focused around great talks and alcohol, hence TECH+TUNES!

It’s also a priority for us to include great non-alcoholic alternatives, partnering with Something & Nothing (half our team is also alcohol free) and plant-powered bites (our local Kaleido Rolls store).
