‘Policing in a modern world‘ – Commissioner McLaren, DCS Gould & DS Stokes, City of London Police- We’ll hear from the national lead police force for fraud on the latest fraud and cyber crime threats and initiatives.
‘Tackling fraud together: the importance of partner collaboration and taking a proactive approach‘ – Rob Jones, Director General, NECC & Threat Leadership In this session delegates will hear how the NECC are delivering a joint response to fraud with businesses in the private sector to identify and design out system vulnerabilities to prevent fraudsters from contacting and engaging with victims.
‘Stopping Scams: bringing responsible businesses together to stop the harm and loss caused by scams’ – Ruth Evans, Chair of Stop Scams UK will outline how Stop Scams UK is working with responsible businesses to help stop scams at source; their plans to develop 159, the short code phone service that helps the victims of scams and their plans to enable data sharing across the banking, telecoms and technology sectors.
‘Fit to fight fraud? Tackling Fraud in the National Health Service’ – Alex Rothwell, CEO of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority will talk about Tackling Fraud in the National Health Service
‘Are cryptos and NFTs the new ‘wild west’ for fraud?’ – Aidan Larkin, CEO and Co-Founder of Asset Reality will moderate an expert panel discussion on crypto and NFT fraud with panellists, Racheal Muldoon of The 36 Group, Danielle Haston of Chainalysis, and Michael Corcione of PKF.
‘Not a victimless crime: The impact of fraud on a victim’ – A fraud victim shares their experience of fraud and its impact on their emotional, health and financial wellbeing, which continues long after the fraud has been committed.
‘The Role of Insider Fraudsters within FinTechs’ – Claire Maillet, Head of Financial Crime Operations at Ziglu will discuss why FinTechs are vulnerable to Insider Fraud how they can detect, deter, prevent and respond to it, whilst raising awareness of it.

Fraud Awareness Training for Students’ – Jeremy Asher, Consultant Regulatory Solicitor, Setfords outlines the work he has been doing to get counter fraud professionals into schools to educate students on the risks of fraud and how to protect themselves.
