Having graduated with a BSc in Economics from SOAS, Farah started her career with PwC UK ten years ago in Investment Funds Assurance, building a portfolio of investment funds and asset management clients, whilst completing her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.

In 2014, she joined PwC UK Deals, working in what has become their Deal Analytics and Modelling team.  Despite a comparatively modest background in technology and data analytics, Farah made it her primary objective to deepen and enrich her technology skills and broaden her client experiences.  Importantly, she was then able to use this knowledge to act as a key translator bringing together her functional, operational, data and technology expertise to make a tangible difference in her client’s decision making ability.  Her groundbreaking work in deploying cutting edge analytics to transform PwC’s diligence and wider Deals offerings are important examples of where PwC are delivering on their wider intelligent Digital and technology enablement strategies.

Farah continues to focus on building expertise both commercially and technically, pushing the bar in the application of D&A, and sharing knowledge and expertise across the firm. She works with some of the world’s largest Private Equity houses and FTSE 100 companies, delivering revolutionary technologies and state-of-the-art data and analytics to drive value in their business, executing deals and understanding the underlying drivers of performance to boost profit growth and transparency.

Outside of client work, Farah works with Impetus PEF, a philanthropic private equity foundation working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, where she facilitates technical training sessions for investment managers, and often helps on ad hoc queries and advisory services.  This work has allowed her to combine her passion for Data Analytics and technology with that of charity work. She also sits on the PwC Transaction Services Shadow Leadership committee, working with the business leaders to drive the firm’s diversity, inclusiveness and transparency agenda.
