I got my first break as a software engineer in 2017, after having worked as a preschool teacher for five years. While teaching, I taught myself computer languages and wrote iOS apps as a hobby. I enjoyed programming so much I ended up going back to school to obtain a degree in Computer Science, and got a job at Token as their first female software engineer shortly after. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on several aspects of Token’s platform, lead the charge on our integration with the UK banks, and act as first line of contact for client support and pre-sales engineering.
