Gwen is a Senior Manager within PwC’s Deals Insights & Analytics (DIA) team, a specialist team dedicated to helping clients unlock value throughout the deals lifecycle through the application of data-driven commercial insight and the power of the technology.

As part of the senior leadership team, Gwen has been trailblazing PwC’s digital transformation agenda throughout Deals. Her demonstrable success and profile within the team paved the way for younger women to build successful careers in technology and cemented her place as an outstanding role model within the broader community.

Gwen began her career within PwC Audit in 2015, working with the largest FTSE350 and private clients whilst completing her ACA qualification. Gwen later joined PwC’s DIA team in 2018, as she recognised the important role that technology would play in providing best-in-class advice to clients and embraced the upskilling challenge in advanced modelling and data analytics techniques. She now leads the team’s largest and most complex modelling and analytics projects for top-tier private equity, sovereign wealth funds and corporates alike. Her work helps improve their decision-making processes, identifies opportunities and helps drive meaningful value creation.

Outside of client work, Gwen leads and supports various teams and firm-wide initiatives and is passionate about and heavily inputs into shaping the strategy and culture of the team. This includes: i) Co-founding the ‘Women in DIA’ community, with the objective of bringing women together to learn from each other, share personal experiences and help demystify the “superwoman” persona of being a senior woman working in tech; ii) Being a mentor to a number of junior technologists and a student at a local secondary school; iii) Being a career advisor and facilitated “career in finance” workshops at a local secondary school; and iv) Providing pro-bono advisory services to Impetus PEF, a philanthropic private equity foundation working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
