Ifeoma Uzoegwu

Ifeoma is an experienced Technology Project Manager currently working at British Telecommunications. Her specialty is the delivery of highly complex technical projects some of which include EE Smart WiFi, Alexa-enabled BT advanced digital home phone, Full Fibre, Fleet mobile apps to name a few.

Ifeoma is passionate about using Technology to change lives for the better. This passion was a key driver behind her decision to study for a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge.

Ifeoma was recognised in 2021 by PMI UK as a Wonder Woman and an inspiration to all women. She is also a finalist for the 2021 Women in Tech Excellence awards in the Woman of the Year and Innovator of the Year category. She was also a finalist in the Computing rising stars awards. She was also recognised in BT through the Accelerate program as having a high potential to become a future senior leader in BT.

Ifeoma is an advocate of giving back to the society and sharing her experience to help lift others. As a STEM ambassador she has run and taken part in various workshops and conferences aimed at encouraging girls and young women into Technology roles. As a career mentor for Anglia Ruskin University, she has mentored women from under-represented backgrounds towards starting a career in Technology. She is also a volunteer on Barefoot and Digital Boost, and a career mentor for Reed Women in Technology mentoring programme.

When she is not delivering awesome technologies, Ifeoma enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
