Prior to joining Capco, my professional journey began in academia, where I dedicated eight years to honing my skills and knowledge in biomedical sciences by completing my BScHon in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a Master’s in Translational Medicine and Nanomedicine, and a PhD in immunology. These academic pursuits provided me with a solid foundation and instilled in me the analytical mindset required to thrive as a technical analyst.

Throughout my academic career, I employed computational models to understand and study complex biological systems. This experience allowed me to develop my analytical skills, enabling me to leverage data-driven insights to quantify and interpret research outcomes. The ability to work with intricate data sets and derive meaningful conclusions proved invaluable in preparing me for the challenges of my future career.

When the time came to transition away from academia, I sought a career path that would capitalise on my transferable skills while embracing my passion for technology. It was during this period of exploration that I discovered Capco, a renowned organisation with a specialised program tailored for PhD graduates like myself. This program not only offered an opportunity to seamlessly transition into the technology sector but also recognised and valued the unique skill set accumulated throughout our academic journeys. At Capco, I had the chance to further enhance my technical expertise, ensuring that I could effectively contribute to their innovative banking services.

For the past two years, I have honed my skills as a technical analyst specialising in the financial services industry. In this role, I have been able to apply my strong analytical mindset and leverage my academic background to drive impactful solutions. I actively collaborate with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements, ensuring that the technical solutions I design align with the strategic vision of the organisation and meet the evolving needs of the industry.

My role as a technical analyst encompasses the design and development of cutting-edge banking services, leveraging emerging technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient systems. I am passionate about staying at the forefront of technological advancements, and I continuously strive to incorporate innovative tools and methodologies into my work.
