I have had the benefit of multicultural education and upbringing.

I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh to parents with Bengali and Persian ancestry. I studied in Dhaka until the age of 17. My taste of the joys of other cultures came from participating in the Asian Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) in Fukuoka, Japan as a junior ambassador at the age of 11. This fueled my decision to study abroad. It was eye-opening, being immersed in Japanese culture both for its rich tradition and its fast-moving technological developments. Later on, I came to the UK to complete my higher education. My interest in technology and innovation saw me take up a role in the renewable energy sector up north focusing on solar panel installation, insulation and energy performance check (EPC) as a property surveyor. And yes the job required me drilling people’s houses! My role developed into managing field surveyors and compliance to meet the government standards. I moved to London when I was offered a technology transformation role with the PwC Partner Office legal team where I automated the end to end partner pre-admission compliance process. I worked closely with developers to solution design various automated compliance processes for our PwC partners in Compendia (a web-based app used by PwC partners). While working in this role, I upskilled myself in Salesforce (CRM platform), Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP), Artificial Intelligence and programming in 3 different languages (Python, R and SQL). I was then offered a role as a Technology Consultant within PwC Tech Consulting team. Apart from currently working as a Technology Consultant, I am currently studying BSc in Data Science and Analytics with University of London (Academic direction from LSE) and also a candidate for CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) Level 1.
