Ivy is the Head of the Quant Development team within Advanced Execution Services (AES), Credit Suisse’s award winning suite of algorithmic trading strategies – used intelligently by institutional clients to execute trades in global markets across Equities, Futures and Foreign Exchange asset classes.
She has a track record of technical excellence—winning several scholarships, including IEEE Women in Engineering and a National Grid sponsorship. She graduated from Imperial College London with an integrated Master’s degree in Information System Engineering.
Ivy started her career at Citi, London, in the front office Algo trading development team, having initially joined the Technology Graduate program. To further broaden her technical and business horizon, she spent three years in Citi’s Hong Kong front office Algo product team.
With deep Algo technology knowledge for Asia Equity markets, Ivy moved back to London joining the AES team at Credit Suisse. She has successfully delivered multiple mission-critical projects, implementing innovative trading algorithms tailored to external clients which generate millions of dollars of revenue for CS, through to regulatory deliverables to ensure CS is compliant for MiFID2. Her skillset and drive are exemplary and her ability to motivate and develop others is widely noted by her team, management and business stakeholders.
Outside her immediate role, Ivy has volunteered at a homeless shelter, advises graduates at CS recruitment events, has led work experience sessions with GCSE students and has mentored junior staff within and outside of her team. Additionally, she is a member of CS Women Connect, which focuses on diversity.
