After completing a degree in economics and law at Cambridge University I went on to join BT on a graduate scheme.

I was fortunate to be there when they sponsored the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and worked as a project manager for three years, delivering technology to the Games. I loved working in the intersect between technology and sport and so after that moved to work on the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the the Rugby World Cup in 2015.

After working on these tournaments I decided I wanted to look for something more permanent and, after working briefly for an internet start up, I joined the FA in Technology. I started as a project manager, delivering software to help the running of football. I’m now a programme manager delivering a new platform and application for administering grassroots football.
