DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a engineering-minded technology developer to collaborate with other developers and end users in an agile environment to develop state-of-the art detection and automated response capabilities to counter cybersecurity threats, including:
– Development of internal tools and applications used to correlate known vulnerabilities with inventory and scanning data
– Development of integration and automation components used for the detection and response of cybersecurity threats
– Engaging with security analysts and peer developers to define requirements
– Operational support for production platforms through health monitoring and root-cause troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills required:
– 5+ years of object oriented software development experience with a demonstrable portfolio of achievement
– Experience in developing scalable and complex distributed systems.
– Experience designing APIs
– Experience using building distributed/multi-tier/n-tier applications
– Experience working with Linux
– Experience using version control systems like Git
– Experience moving software into a production environment
– Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and expand professional skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work in a globally distributed team
– Proven ability to collaborate with other developers and end users to craft end-to-end solutions
– Experience with Object-relational mapping systems and frameworks
– Passionate interest in cyber security
Skills desired:
– Fluent in Python (polyglots are welcome), preferably using Flask or Django frameworks.
– 2+ years with web development, including front-end JavaScript
– 2+ years experience developing – Experience with streaming data frameworks like Nifi and Kafka
– Experience with a continuous integration technology like Jenkins
– Experience with relational databases
– Development of internal tools and applications used by analysts and developers to support team SDLCs.
