Java Developer Permanent

Venquis are currently working with a globally recognised brand to support them with their search for a number of Java Developers based in London OR Leeds.

The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills which will enable them to clearly present solutions to clients. They should be comfortable being involved in the Software Development Lifecycle from end to end, in order to establish a good understanding of the business at hand.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and attend client meetings
• Conduct necessary research to establish ideal solutions for client’s business
• Create bespoke software solutions for clients.
• Leading a team of developers.
• Involved in end to end processes, including rolling end products out to stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in Software Development
• Experience of different programming languages such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Azure etc
• Ideally a full stack or backend technical background
• Ideally, some experience mentoring or team leading on projects
• An understanding of agile tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders and interpret requirements into technical specifications
• Experience working within a client-facing/ delivery focused role, or you have a consultancy background
• An ambition to grow and develop into Management or Architecture Essentials
• Candidates must be willing to do UK based travel for projects.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
