Strategy and Transactions Markets & Sector Operations Manager

The opportunity

Providing sales and operational support to the Strategy & Transactions (SaT) Health Sciences & Wellness (HS&W) Markets Segment Leader and providing PMO and broader operations support to the SaT Markets Operations Leader; this role provides a growth opportunity for a talented Manager who wishes to expand their horizons via gaining an understanding of SaT’s sub-service lines and segment-led go-to-market strategies and being part of driving the SaTAmbition.

Your key responsibilities

Segment Operations:

• Support sector reporting and governance cycle, including preparation of key reports/deliverables for sector board meetings, Performance Review meetings and other Market Sector Leader meetings;
• Management of sector sales, pipeline and opportunity funnel;
• Managing horizon watching process through regular pipeline & opportunity meetings, tracking themes and opportunity pipeline and liaising with Origination team;
• Identifying Market trends and business topics, leveraging the Knowledge team;
• Project management of go-to-market initiatives, working closely with Marketing and PR to promote attendance at firm events and increasing sector exposure in the media;
• Responsibility for driving segment involvement in SaT, sector and firm campaigns and programmes;
• Support development and execution of the Sector strategy;
• Support firm wide market segment by developing relationships with counterparts at firm level;
• Support SaT Markets reporting and broader SaT Markets projects for the sector:
• Support management of key sector accounts, including tracking progress against KPIs, return on investment, and opportunity conversion; and facilitating account management sessions with SaT account teams.

SaT Markets operations:

• Manage SaT Markets reporting deliverables, covering preparation of certain reports in addition to managing and reviewing reporting prepared by the off-shore team;
• Continue to develop SaT Markets reporting as needs of the business change;
• Manage overall accuracy of SaT pipeline through liaising with other SaT Sector Operations Managers and directly with the business;
• Key role in project management of SaT markets projects (e.g. Global Revenue Planning, Global Investment Planning, ASQs, MergerMarket);
• Ad hoc request (expected to arise regularly)

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong project management skills, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritise a number of conflicting demands to meet deadlines
• Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both within Segment (SaT and firm-wide); the SaT Markets team and SaT Leadership Team
