I have 12 Years experience in Finance. Starting my career at Barclays straight from college as a Cashier. I performed many front line roles and was fortunate enough to work in some of Barclays busiest and most challenging branches, which gave me valuable Retail Banking experience. I started my management career by rebuilding the performance of underperforming teams and lead several branches to ‘best in class’ for performance and service regionally. I am a strong believer in potential and enjoy seeing teams and individuals reaching their goals by focusing on personal development and coaching.

I have a personal passion for Digital, and with society and businesses recent shift to a ‘connected’ digital world, I believed I could make a difference and a positive impact on Barclays own Digital Transformation. In a digital world, it is all about people! and In 2014 I left the front line of Retail Banking to join Strategic Transformation and worked on an award winning project ‘Digital Eagles’ to build a ‘Digital Culture’ across our UK Bank, European Bank and African Bank. I reported directly to the Managing Director of Iberia, and was based in Spain for several months working with local teams to deliver an award wining Colleague App, Collaboration Services and Digital Products.

My present focus, as Head of Cyber Strategy for Strategic Transformation, came from a personal worry; as more people were empowered to go online and with fraudsters becoming smarter, more sophisticated and more creative everyday, it would be imperative that people felt safe online, not just because we were working harder than the fraudsters but also because they knew how to stay safe online. And so I petitioned my Director to create my current position and focus Barclays on taking proactive steps forward with fraud, collaborating with industry leading specialists to spread awareness, build tools and resources, drive education and ultimately protect the public and our business.
