I work at NetSupport Software with three roles- editor of our free online quarterly education magazine R.I.S.E., which is a collaborative magazine with diverse voices across the education sector; host of the ‘Of Primary Importance Podcast’ which covers all things early years and primary with special guests across the education sector; and Product Manager of ReallySchool which is a tool for EYFS and Primary for observations, assessment, home learning, parental engagement etc.

Prior to this, I was a primary school teacher mainly based in year 2. The school I worked in helped to co-produce ReallySchool. I also worked as a HLTA, teaching assistant and nursery nurse so have a varied background in education. I still work closely with the school I taught in supporting with special events and training.

I am also a member of the Global Equality Collective, a Global EdTech Author and a Technocamps ‘Girls in STEM Role Model’. I have written many blogs and articles including this one https://nexus-education.com/blog/from-techno-snore-to-techno-score/ which won the 2022 Nexus Education ‘Classroom and Curriculum Improvement Award.’ The blog was all about my journey in to the world of EdTech and why I want to encourage more young people especially girls to consider a career in STEAM.
