My journey into Tech began in 2016 when I joined digital marketing agency, Amaze (now Kin + Carta).

I started my career in predominately admin roles, giving me a centralised view into the general operations of a digital company. It was there that I met Natalie Gross (one of the top three influential digital professionals in the UK – eConsultancy) and formed a close working relationship. For me, Natalie ignited my interest in the industry as an inspirational woman in tech and I quickly learnt more about the opportunities available and knew I wanted to pursue a career in tech.

Following my role at Amaze, I then moved to digital innovation agency TH_NK, which was later acquired by EPAM in 2018. During my time here I had varied roles, supporting the executive team, wider office and later supporting the EMEA marketing team. These roles all gave me a broad overview of the varied career options within the tech industry and was great experience, but I chose to pursue a new career path when an opportunity arose within the corporate social responsibility team.

Since starting this role almost 18 months ago, I have established a cohesive CSR presence within the UK, partnering with organisations such as BIMA, Raspberry Pi Foundation and Apps for Good to sponsor education programmes and supporting projects that benefit underrepresented communities and students.
