Lami Ibrahim

Global marketing and project management professional with experience across the Education, Music, FinTech and International Development sectors.

A multi-channel marketer who specialises in product-positioning, brand strategy, and designing end-to-end customer journeys that deepens customer engagement and drive growth.

During an overseas volunteer programme became very intrigued with tech startups and how they were accelerating access to fundamental services in developing countries. In 2018 I left the non-profit sector to join payments and tech giant Paypal. I work for our Global Growth Marketing division and focus on delivering value to our small-medium businesses and nonprofit segments.

My commitment towards social justice remains unchanged. Alongside my marketing career I co-run an international initiative with Femme International known as “Together 4 Her”. The project is aimed at tackling period poverty and keeping girls in education so they can fulfil their potential. Since its conception in 2016, the project has delivered vital workshops and sustainable sanitary solutions to over 3,500 girls (and counting) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Inside PayPal, I serve as lead for our UK Give initiatives to support underserved communities both here at home and around the world. In addition to this I leverage my platform at PayPal to champion for racial equality and devote time to mentor students from inner city schools.
