I am an expert in communications with ten years of experience working for some for the world’s leading scientific and technology organisations. Specialising in public relations, community management, social media and digital marketing, I am pro-active, adaptable, flexible and creative with exceptional organisational skills.
I am currently the Head of Digital Communications and Community Engagement for Digital Science, a technology company building tools and tech for scientists. Having joined the team in 2013, I am tasked with growing the online presence of Digital Science and handling media enquiries. I am always busy helping to build online communities around our portfolio businesses and products.
Having graduated in Biochemistry, I have worked at the BBC as a science TV researcher and programme developer. After the BBC I began working for Nature Publishing Group in their Communities team where for several years I was involved in growing Nature’s social media and blogging endeavours. I have also has been a co-organiser of the annual SpotOn London conference.
