Morgane started her career as a traditional lawyer in Brussels before switching to a role in a legal technology start-up, where she was responsible for developing a legal advice product for SMEs.

The product won the first legal tech award in Belgium, which motivated her to develop her knowledge on the use of technology in the legal industry. In 2018 she joined Wavelength, a Cambridge-based start-up and first legal engineering business in the UK. Within Wavelength she has been part of several ground-breaking projects, as well as the acquisition by Simmons & Simmons LLP. Her experience includes building bespoke programmes for legal departments, consulting on processes and how to optimise them, change management, facilitating hackathons and overall digging into complex, multi-faceted problems that involve people, process, data, technology and the law.

Today, she focuses on Legal Operations and how it can put a company’s legal department on the best possible path to success. She sees the role of Legal Operations as a bridge connecting multiple stakeholders, departments and industries and as the key to putting traditional legal services back in the centre of business operations.
