Nikita is a Vice President at Bank of America with five years of experience as a software engineer.

She is responsible for designing and maintaining applications to support Front Office Trading, Risk, Analytics and Position Management within the Global Markets division.

Nikita holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick. During her studies Nikita explored a variety of technology areas including interning at a civil engineering company and completing two dissertations on 3D printing and nano-satellites respectively. Her second internship was at Bank of America where she was first introduced to programming. After graduating in 2017 she joined the technology graduate programme at Bank of America to continue her interest in software engineering.

Now Nikita helps women learn how to code in Python by volunteering as a coding instructor with Code First Girls who give women the opportunity to learn how to code who are also not from computer science backgrounds.
