Technology is a great leveller. Nimmy is passionate about helping businesses realize their full potential by increasing their access to technology. Over the last eight years she has led three diverse organisations in EMEA across Amazon that are dedicated to this mission. In her current role, Nimmy leads an sales organisation in Amazon Web Services (AWS) which helps start-ups across EMEA build and scale on AWS. Prior to this role, she led and scaled a European to Worldwide global selling organisation which helps small businesses in UK and Europe go global, by leveraging Amazon’s technology and 250 + logistics sites in countries worldwide. Nimmy’s team has also launched and led European Scientific Supplies Stores for Amazon, scaling B2B product selection across Healthcare, Education Supplies and Laboratory stores. Similar to her mission to help her customers succeed and grow, she is a firm advocate for improving the representation of women, she has been the executive sponsor of three Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Initiatives, notably her sponsorship of Amazon UK’s Maternity Experience and Return to Work which aims to bring comfort and career continuity to women. Nimmy was nominated and trained as part of a global Amazon program where Amazon employees work to hire new employees that continue to raise the bar for talent across the business. Before Amazon, Nimmy has worked in sales and marketing leadership roles with Castrol (BP), where she was part of an MBA leadership development programme completing three leadership rotations across Retail/ Channel Sales and Brand Marketing. At the company she went on to work across Channel sales, leading a Pan India network of Car Service Workshops and Retail Sales. Nimmy has an MBA and B. Tech degree.
