This is a quick guide with all you need to know about getting the most out of your One Tech World experience…
Getting onto the platform
As you know One Tech World is an entirely virtual platform. To log in, you will need the email we have sent confirming your registration for the conference. If it’s not in your inbox, check your spam. If it’s not in there, you can still log-in using your email address using this link to One Tech World. If all else fails, send us an email at [email protected].
Building your own unique agenda
One Tech World is YOUR conference, so if you want a bit of innovation, head to stage one. If you want to find out more about career development, book onto the career stage. Take a look through the agenda of over 80 speakers and pick and choose sessions for YOU. The agenda looks like this, but to book, you must be logged into the conference platform.
Shout about it on Social Media
Tell your network you’re attending and encourage them to join you! When at the event, share your experience on Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn – and please don’t forget to tag us in at #OneTechWorld.
April 27th 8am – Virtual doors are OPEN!
Get in some pastries, brew up the strong coffee, we’re about to start one of the best conferences you’ve ever been to, where you can stay in your jimjams. Each session fits into a 20-minute window (some also have the speakers in the chatroom so watch out for those!) and panel discussions are no longer than 30 minutes. If you want to fit more into the day – and who wouldn’t with such an awesome line up? – Just watch back any time up to May 27th.
Visit our sponsor booths
Want a new job? Want to see what different companies are up to? Want to win prizes? Head over to our Exhibition Hall, where you can chat to people from each company, virtually, throughout the day of the conference. You can also download documents, leaflets and videos which will be added to your own virtual swag bag and emailed to you at the end of the conference.
Build your network
Join in the discussion in chatrooms introduce yourself to other delegates and share your thoughts on any sessions you have attended – this is a great way to build your network of women in tech. We have chat rooms for all geographies to enable women to connect to others in their respective regions (Europe, UK, India and US). We also have a job seekers chat room, as well as a general chat room – so please do get involved!
Leadership Board Challenge
Join in our competition and collect points by watching webinars, visiting exhibition stands, taking a photo in our booth, contributing to Q&As and interacting with our sponsors throughout the day… You could win an Amazon gift card worth £100, £50 and £20.
The robots have gone AWOL!!!
Twenty robots have hidden themselves around the conference – find each one in our Scavenger Hunt and you will be entered into a prize draw to win £100, a ticket to WeAreTech Festival and One Tech World 2024. Good luck!
Take a selfie in our virtual photo booth
Being virtual is no excuse to not share your day with us. We’ve got a dedicated photo booth where you can share your selfies and photos of you enjoying the day from wherever you are in the world!
