Angela Lambert | Director, Applications, Platforms & Infrastructure (Global Asset Management), RBC

Angela Lambert is Director of Application, Platform and Infrastructure Services for RBC Global Asset Management (GAM) and is located in Toronto, Canada. In this role Angela is responsible for the health of all of the applications and underlying technologies used by the group, from large trading systems and cloud hosted applications, through to bespoke code running on traditional infrastructure.  She oversees a diverse group of support staff and engineers based in Canada, the United States, and in Europe.

With over 20 years’ experience in Technology, Angela started her career in the Pharma industry in the UK before immigrating to Canada in 2008 and moving into Financial Services. Known professionally for her customer service mindset and process improvement capabilities, she also has a passion for making a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of York, and a Masters in Information Systems & Technology from City University, London. Outside of work she has her hands full with a rambunctious toddler who makes the occasional appearance in important video calls.
