Atif Syed Abbas | Managing Director, Controllers, Goldman Sachs
Atif co-manages Controllers Engineering for the Global Markets Division and Treasury Execution Services in EMEA. Atif joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as an associate in Operations Engineering and was named managing director in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Atif worked at several financial technology and software start-up firms focusing on software development.
Atif is a passionate champion of women in technology and has introduced over 200 women to coding through coaching programming courses with Code First Girls.
Atif earned an MBA from the University of Exeter, UK, a BCS and an MCS from FAST Institute of Computer Science at the University of Karachi. He earned a chartered manager designation from the Chartered Management Institute in the UK.
