Auriol Stevens | Global Technology Director – Employee Experience & Digital Workplace, Unilever
Auriol is currently Global Technology Director – Employee Experience and Digital Workplace at Unilever. She joined the Company in 2018 and has held roles as Global IT Director of Applied Technology, which supports the business in exploring, evaluation embedding and education around technology innovation; Chair of the Transformation Design Authority; and Global Transformation lead for the evolution of Unilever’s workplaces. This latter focussed on leadership, digital & physical workplaces and equitably and inclusive work environments in the new hybrid world. Auriol is also leading on work related to Racial Equity.
Prior to joining Unilever, Auriol was CEO of Inogesis, a spin-out from Technology Merchant Bank Restoration Partners, which curates a virtual network of start-ups, SMEs, academics and scale up experts from the UK’s innovation community.
Auriol is a Non-Executive on the Board of the Royal Navy and Chair of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Security Science and Technology at Imperial College. She is also Deputy Chair of the Advisory Board of the Security, Privacy, Identity and Trust (SPRITE+) network
Auriol regularly speaks at external events on the application of technology and how diversity leads to business growth. In addition, she is passionate about sports and consumer rights, the latter being of particular personal interest for much of her life, and the reason she pursued a degree in Law. She mentors as many individuals as possible and has recently started a fund to support sports women at Sussex University.
