Caren Morrison | VP Distributed Hosting and Reliability Engineering, RBC

Caren MorrisonCaren Morrison is VP Distributed Hosting and Reliability Engineering at RBC and manages the I&TS Infrastructure. In this role, she is responsible for a team of professionals that provide technology infrastructure services across RBC globally. Caren leads the budget & control for the overall IT process of hardware/software/networks/operation services for the technology infrastructure platform which supports over 100 applications across Canada, Europe, Malaysia and Australia. Caren has held various roles leading technology transformation across many RBC teams including Mobile and Online Banking as well as Insurance.

In her spare time, Caren is focused on creating a Sustainable Leadership and Development program to increase female recruitment into technology and ensure a focus on recruiting and retaining young talent. Caren was a founding member of the RBC Kids Can Code program, and a member of the Technology and Operations Diversity Leadership Counsel’s with a focus on Women in Tech. When not at work, Caren enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters, and running a hockey school in Ontario, Canada.
