Denver Phiri is a health economist with nearly 20 years of experience working in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. His expertise has been gained through supporting economic and growth strategies for some of the top 25 pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the world.
His research experience includes diagnostic laboratory-based research, literature-based studies as well as bespoke health economic and outcomes research studies. His public health career has afforded him the opportunity to consult and work with leading healthcare strategists, academics and elected representatives.
Driven to influence the thinking around the future of health and wellness, Denver is an advocate for the use of data as a driver for improving efficiency and accelerating the cross pollination of ideas in the healthcare space.
In line with this Denver spent the last few years building and innovating in the digital HealthTech space, in an effort to increase access to healthcare and increase impact whilst creating standardised platforms through mobile based apps.
Denver is also a renowned speaker, and he has presented at key conferences and platforms including the WHO in Switzerland.
