Amber GhaddarDr Amber Ghaddar is one of the founders of AllianceBlock, the blockchain startup building the framework for the world’s first globally compliant capital market by bridging CeFi and DeFi. AllianceBlock issued its token in September 2020 and is now in the top 200 global crypto projects by market capitalization. It however, ranks fourth in terms of women founded crypto projects by market capitalization.

Amber started her career at Goldman Sachs, before moving to JP Morgan London where she was a bond trader and held various leadership positions.

She has given talks on Participative Capitalism in Davos, TEDx, BBC and others. She was listed in the long list of “Rising Women In Crypto Powerlist 2020” by the Fintech Times and is quoted on various media such as Bloomberg and Reuters. She is a guest lecturer at EDHEC Business School in France on the subject of DeFi and cryptocurrencies.

In her free time, Amber is an advocate of women in tech and blockchain. She is an investor and board member of BIBA – an ecosystem that encourages girls into STEM subjects – and a mentor at Global Thinkers Forum and UN Women. With Bridget Greenwood, she recently launched the Bigger Pie Funding Initiative, aiming to finance women led startups in the UK.

Amber holds a B.Sc in Science & Technology, Three Masters and a PhD in Molecular Medicine. She is a graduate of McGill Canada and HEC Paris.
