Dr Bani AnvariDr Bani Anvari is a Lecturer in Intelligent Mobility at the Centre for Transport Studies within the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at University College London. She is Founder and Director of Intelligent Mobility @ UCL ([email protected]). Dr Anvari’s vision is to enable humans to trust and fully exploit the benefits of future mobility services through new technology and innovation. Dr Anvari is interested in the complexity of interaction and how intuitive, intelligent, human-centric and personalised control systems can influence it. Having a first degree in Civil Engineering, Dr Anvari completed her MSc in Advanced Architectural Studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London) in 2009. Her PhD research at Imperial College London focused on a new microscopic model for the simulation of shared space schemes. From 2013 to 2016, she was a Research Associate in the Centre for System Engineering and Innovation / Port Operations Research and Technology Centre and Lloyd’s Register Foundation Transport Risk Management Centre at Imperial College London. From 2016 to 2017, Dr Anvari then joined the Transport Research Group at the University of Southampton as a Lecturer in Intelligent Mobility before joining UCL.
