Jenny Gwilliam | Principal Agile Lead, Sky
I am an Agilist in Technology, founder of the communities liberating structures, planet pals and co-founder of grassroots leaders all at Sky Leeds Dock. I’ve worked in technology since 1988 in a variety of industries and roles both in the UK and overseas. For 25 years my profession was software testing during which time I owned a software test management consultancy for 18 years. In 2015 I switched career discipline as I wanted to utilise the skills I enjoyed most and grasp the opportunity to learn new things & stretch myself. To educate and nurture more modern ways of working, behaviours and thinking means I’m constantly learning and I’m driven to make the workplace a more human, compassionate and empowered environment than the one I started out in. I strive for women to be understood & supported throughout the entirety of their career and for everyone to have a better awareness of the impact of the menopause. Outside of work I’m a busy volunteer on the Board of Directors for a National charitable organisation. Dogs are my passion, along with country life, baseball, body-groove, quality wine and cooking.
