Kirsty Baxter-Smith | Mobile Cloud Core Operations Director, BT
Kirsty has been working in the Mobile Telecommunications industry for over 20 years, as part of the team delivering several of the UK’s major mobile infrastructure milestones, including 4G and 5G. She led the team supporting EE – the UK’s biggest mobile network, during the Covid-19 pandemic and UK lockdowns and is now a senior leader with BT, helping to build, implement and support the new mobile cloud core network. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women in technology, particularly retaining women as they develop and progress in their careers, supporting them to move into leadership roles and create opportunities for others.
