Kristen Sanderson | VP of Engineering, GE Digital
Kristen Sanderson is VP of Engineering leading the Integration for GE Digital’s Grid Software business unit, helping lead the design and execution of the integration plan for a recent acquisition, Opus One. Kristen’s role will help connect the products and services of Opus One into the existing GE Digital customer base and portfolio to accelerate the Energy Transition, while helping keep the start-up spirit alive and elevating Opus One’s identity and thought leadership.
Prior to this role, Kristen led the Grid Software Engineering Team, a global team delivering software solutions that are critical for the energy transition strategy. Kristen has 30 years of global, energy industry experience, starting her career as a software developer and progressing through various technical, business-focused roles in Engineering, Quality, and Services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Auburn University.
Outside of work, Kristen lives with her husband in Melbourne, FL. She loves travel, photography and doing Zumba to stay active.
