Laia Bertran Manye | Senior Associate, Clifford Chance
Laia is a Senior Associate in Clifford Chance’s TMT practice, specialising in legal advice on data protection. She has experience advising large multinationals from different industry sectors, including tech companies, on a range of issues on data protection compliance. Previously, she worked at PwC in London and at Garrigues in Barcelona.
Laia is qualified to practice law in Spain and New York, holds a master’s degree in Law (LLM) from Duke University (USA) and served as a fellow at Duke’s Center on Law and Technology. She also holds a master’s degree in legal practice from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and she is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional, Europe (CIPP/E) and US (CIPP/US). As a member of Clifford Chance’s Accelerate programme and the TMT D&I group, she is involved in diversity and inclusion initiatives in the firm. In her spare time Laia loves travelling, going to the theatre, reading and exploring cuisines from around the world.
