Mark Ellis | Managing Director & Head of Group Operations Solutions, Credit Suisse
Mark Ellis is a Managing Director and Head of Global Operations Technology (GOT) in Credit Suisse’s Chief Technology Operating Office (CTOO) division. Based in London, Mark is a member of the Group Chief Information Officer (GCIO) Management Committee and Global Operations Management Committee.
Mark has been running technology delivery and services for Operations in Credit Suisse since 2016. His focus is ensuring GOT provides quality technology solutions while developing new capabilities, improving service, and fostering an agile delivery approach. To achieve this, he builds a diverse team with strong technical skills, a sense of belonging, and shared goals and values. Mark is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, chairing several D&I forums at Credit Suisse. He strongly believes everyone has the right to bring their whole selves to work and strives to foster this culture in his organization and throughout the Bank.
Mark joined Credit Suisse in August 2004 and has worked in various roles in Change and Technology. Before that, Mark spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase in the Investment Banking and IT Divisions in the UK, US and Russia, and six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers working in their Management Consulting practice.
Mark is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and holds a degree in Applied Biology from Brunel University London.
