Martin Barber | People and Global Capabilities Director, Applied Intelligence

Martin joined BAE Systems in May 2018 as Global Capabilities Director of Applied Intelligence and responsible for an organisation that encompasses Consultants, Programme and Project Managers, Engineers and Global Delivery Centres. In March 2020 he became the Global People and Capabilities Director with additional responsibility for the People function.

Before joining BAE Systems Martin was Vice President, Europe Delivery, Global Technology Services for IBM and before that Group COO, Banking and Payments, EMEA and Managing Director, EMEA Core Banking at Fidelity Information Services (FIS). Martin also spent eleven years at Hewlett Packard where his roles included COO of HP’s UK Defence and Security business.

In the earlier parts of his career Martin became a partner at KPMG, was a Vice President, at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and spent a number of years at the Nationwide Building Society.
