May Pepere is Managing Director, International & Data CIO.
Ms. Pepere joined Morgan Stanley in 1993 as a system analyst and has held a succession of leadership positions during her more than 25-year career with the Firm. Her career spans Fixed Income, Equity, Corporate Technology and Wealth Management Technology.
She served as Co-Head of OTC Trade Processing Technology with responsibility for the build-up of derivatives processing functions, and as Fixed Income Technology EMEA COO with responsibility for departmental operations.
In her most recent role in Wealth Management, Ms. Pepere created a consolidated Banking Technology unit and drove the strategic direction for technology platforms across banking business lines such as deposits and loans.
As International & Data CIO, Ms. Pepere is responsible for Morgan Stanley’s diverse International Technology footprint across our Global In-house Centers (GICs), Europe and Asia. She leads the Firm’s Data Centre of Excellence (COE), covering data governance, data quality and sensitive data security.
As part of her personal commitment to diversity in technology, Ms. Pepere serves on the steering committee of Morgan Stanley’s Women in Technology group and co-leads the Americas Technology Inclusion workstream.
